Speech comprehension: The child actively listens, processes the verbal command “tractor” and connects the word with the real object.
Selective attention and visual search: From a group of different toys, the child must select and recognize the exact shape required.
Bilateral coordination: Stringing requires coordinated work of both hands – one hand holds the rope, while the other precisely lowers the toy.
Fine motor skills and oculomotor coordination: Finger precision and eye-hand coordination are developed when pulling the rope through the opening.
Parental advice: Through this game, we enrich the child’s vocabulary (we name animals, vehicles, shapes). If the child has difficulty finding an object at first, reduce the number of toys offered on the floor. Once the child has mastered simple commands, you can make the game more difficult by giving double instructions (e.g. “Take the red tractor” or “Take the cow, then the tractor”).
