When the child has acquired the sound C in the final position, we move on to acquiring the sound C in logograms in which the sound is at the beginning and in the middle of the word, such as: “ca”, “ce”, “ci”, “co”, “cu” and “aca”, “ece”, “ici”, “oco” and “ucu”.
After successfully mastering pronunciation through logatoms, we move on to words that begin with the sound C, as well as words that contain the sound C in medial position. The goal is to gradually automate the correct pronunciation of the sound through different positions in the word and spontaneous speech.
Then we move on to work with sentences, picture stories and rhymes to help automate the C sound in spontaneous speech. These tasks are introduced only after the child has successfully mastered the previous steps and has steadily acquired the correct pronunciation of the C sound in different positions and word structures.
