The Vukovar-Srijem County Development Agency is responsible for the preparation and implementation of development projects financed from national and European sources. Within the framework of the HEARTS project, the Agency provides expert support in planning, implementing and monitoring project activities, as well as in strengthening the capacities of partners for the effective implementation of EU projects.
Activities in the HEARTS project:
- Development of an Early Intervention Action Plan for the cross-border area in cooperation with an external expert.
- Creation of an education program for families of children with developmental disabilities in collaboration with an external expert.
- Organization of training for experts/employees of partner institutions .
- Conducting promotional and information activities for the public and relevant stakeholders on the importance of early intervention and acceptance of children with disabilities.
- Informing pediatric practices in Vukovar-Srijem County about the inclusion of children in the early intervention program at the Community Service Center in order to enable timely diagnostics and therapy , equal access to healthcare, and relieve the burden on the healthcare system.
