A meeting of project partners of the “HEARTS” project – “Equal access to health services for all vulnerable groups” was held in Vinkovci
The Žepče Development Agency and the Public Institution “Žepče Health Center with Inpatient Clinic” visited Vinkovci on January 27 and 28, 2025, where they held meetings with project partners the Center for Community Service Provision of the Vukovar-Srijem County, the Vukovar-Srijem County Development Agency and the NGO “Association of Parents of Children with Developmental Disabilities – Podgorica.
The aim of the meetings was to prepare for the submission of the first project report as well as to plan the implementation of the next activities envisaged by the project. In addition, the professional staff of the Public Institution “Health Center with Inpatient Unit Žepče” had the opportunity to exchange experiences in working with children and adults with developmental disabilities, with the employees of the Center for Community Service Provision of the Vukovar-Srijem County. During the two-day visit, our psychologists, speech therapists and physiotherapists had the opportunity to work with colleagues from Croatia on providing treatment to children with developmental disabilities, all with the aim of applying good practices in their own work.
The visit was also attended by the Director of the Žepče Development Agency Branka Janko and the Director of the Public Institution “Health Center with Stationary Clinic Žepče” Dr. Tanja Radoš Kosić, who held meetings with the Director of the Vukovar-Srijem County Development Agency, Zrinka Čobanković, and the Director of the Center for Community Services of the Vukovar-Srijem County, Nikolina Beljo.
